Gearing Up For Holidays On A Low Carb Diet
The holidays are getting closer and closer and with all that comes food. Lots of food. Delicious food. Food that will cause you to put on weight. Oh no! What to do?
Well, with them getting nearer, more and more posts pop up about how to get through the holiday's without putting on a lot of weight, what foods to eat more of, what to eat less of, and the list goes on.
Here's the thing though: If you're on a low carb diet and have been on one, a few days of eating what you want and how much of it you want, really isn't going to cause the apocalypse.
Particularly for those of us on the slow carb diet, it's rather simple to work the weight off. We do it every week after cheat day. So with going against the traditional advice, I say enjoy your holiday and don't worry so much about what to eat and how much of what to eat.
If you really wanna eat that piece of chocolate amazingness, go for it. Want more mashed potatoes? Go for it. Want more eggnog or your preferred winter beverage? Go for it.
Just one rule however: Be ready to jump right back into your diet and get back on track after it's all said and done.
