Why Going Above The Minimum Can Be Good On 4HB

These last 10 months have been pretty great in regards to diet and health. For so long, I stuck to the minimum and while that is good, things have likely not gone as well as they could have been, but just recently a few weeks ago, I started running.

See running isn't for everyone, but I believe if you're capable physically, then its definitely something to do. From a diabetics standpoint, I've been very surprised at the effect it has had on my blood sugar.

I'm down overall, in fact, I've had several missteps the last 2 weeks from my blood sugar getting low! This never happened before and only on rare occassions before starting running. This shows me that, while annoying to get my insulin usage right without screwing up a day or two or three from it getting low, how beneficial more exercise is.

The kettlebell swing is great, though I've always wondered if we are all lying to ourselves in some way, thinking that its enough. Has helped me gain more strength in my upper body and legs which has been especially helpful since am now running, but it alone isn't enough to create a better physique.

What things are you doing exercise wise besides the bare minimum?

Before I wrap this up, someone I've connected with online is doing a Couch To 10K obstacle course November 12th to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
